Dear Friend,
As Mother’s Day approaches, I know your heart may feel heavier than usual. It’s a day that should be filled with joy, yet for you, it might be a painful reminder of what you long for—what you have prayed for, cried for, and hoped for with every part of your being.
I see you. I see your quiet strength as you navigate a world that constantly reminds you of what you don’t yet have. I see the way you hold yourself together when someone unknowingly asks, “Do you have children?” I see the way your heart aches as you scroll past Mother’s Day posts, each one a mixture of love and longing, hope and hurt.
If this day is difficult for you, please know that your pain is real, your feelings are valid, and you are not alone. You are not forgotten. You are loved.
Maybe you’ve been on this journey for months, years, or even longer. Maybe you’ve faced heartbreak after heartbreak, or maybe you’re still waiting for answers. No matter where you are in this journey, please know that your hope is sacred. Your longing is understood. And even in the waiting, you are whole.
It’s okay to grieve, to feel, to acknowledge the pain. It’s okay to sit this day out if it feels too heavy. And it’s also okay to hold on to hope, even when it feels impossible.
To the one praying for a miracle this Mother’s Day-I am praying with you. I am standing with you in your hope, in your sorrow, in your strength. You are more than your fertility journey. You are loved, you are enough, and your story is still being written.
Even in the waiting, you are growing in ways you may not yet see. Your heart, your resilience, and your love are a testament to the mother within you, no matter where your journey leads.
With love and understanding,
firstScan 🤍
